I just updated my Flickr and realized that I have some pretty cool photos on it. I’d really appreciate it if you guys would take a look! I’ve taken all these photos with my Ipod Touch except one or two of them which I took with my regular digital camera and edited on photoshop.

While reading Nylon Guys Magazine in their arcticle(s) about new startups of 2012 I came across an intriguing article. It was about a new application on the Android App Market and Ipod/Iphone App Store.
The app is called Eyeem. Eyeem says, ” EyeEm is a simple & slick photo sharing app that connects you with like-minded people through the photos you take.” Which is exactly what it is. In a sense it is similar to Instagram in the way that you can take pictures, edit them, and then upload them to their social network of pictures.
But with Eyeem the process doesn’t end at uploading them to their social network. You can somewhat tag the photos saying what your doing and where you are. And then once you have done that a whole album of photos similar to yours come up which you can view and favorite. You can also go on http Eyeem’s website and use their non-mobile platform to upload and edit pictures from your computer.
Another thing you can do on Eyeem which is really cool, is upload the pictures to your facebook, tumblr, twitter, flickr, and foursquare. Although you can do this on Instagram (minus foursquare) as well.
Overall in my opinion Eyeem is a much more reliable and easier to use app. I do think Instagram is a great app, don’t get me wrong but I’d much rather use Eyeem instead.

Just got a new app called Instagram. It allows you to take pictures on your ipod touch/iPhone/iPad and then edit them with some really cool effects. Then once you’ve edited them and enhanced their quality you can upload them to this social network thing they have. It’s really unique and honestly, the best part is the ability to enhance your photos directly from your ipod. I know many apps can do this, but this app does it the best in my opinion. I highly recommend downloading this app in the app store, especially because it’s free!
